Exploring the Snowy Woods

Lately I have been taking less and less digital photos during my days off or whenever I wanted to unwind – instead, I’d just shoot with my iPhone or take analogue photos.

When in mid-Jan we heard that there would be snow in the mountains, we decided to visit Kékes, which is highest mountain in Hungary at 1,014 metres above sea level. I know.. I know! :) But still, it was amazingly beautiful what a little snow did to the woods and the fair amount of sunshine we had that day actually turned the whole place into this winter fairytale.

So instead of a digital camera, I brought my medium format Pentax 645n and two rolls of film with me to take some snaps in this wonderful setting. Here are a few of the scanned photos from the snowy woods. Enjoy! :)
